Connect one lamp with two switch


How to connect one lamp with two switches:

This way is used for many purpose to control one device with two switches commonly used for lighting lamp in staircase.

Materials needed:

  1. piece of wire.
  2. Two way switch 2 pcs.
  3. lamp.
  4. AC power supply.

Instructions:

  1. Connect neutral to one of the lamp terminals.
  2. connect live to common pin of any switch.
  3. connect 1 and 1 pins in switches together.
  4. connect 2 & 2 together.
  5. connect the common in the rest switch to the lamp terminal.
That's it, now you can control the lamp from any switch, switch on from any switch and switch off from the other one.
